One thing I found...

Thanks so much for the kind messages in the comments of my last message. I have been archiving stuff on a new hard drive and found a whole bunch of unfinished Medicated Life stuff that I never posted and thought I may as well put some up for you to see.

This is a few pages of a full-on story based on the time I discovered Flash animation quite a few years ago. You should be able to click on them for larger versions. It sort of went like the above images.

The last panel is unfinished but I decided that, as he had discovered some sort of mystical ability to make cartoons in an hour, he deserved a superhero outfit.

He didn't like it.

Maybe at some stage, when my career comes to a crashing halt, I'll do a little graphic novel about my experiences in animation. Not saying it will be any good but it will pass the time. There's more where this came from so I may put up a few oldies as I find them.

I'm going to be a millionaire. Seriously.

I get the bus a lot. Buses, as you probably know, are hideously boring places. Yeah, I can play a DS or listen to music but I actually spend a lot of time just looking at the back of peoples jackets and coats. Collars. Seams. That sort of thing.

Boring.

But, what if people had cartoons on the backs of their jackets? Then the people sitting behind them would have something to read. Wouldn't that be cool?

This is the best invention ever and will make me rich beyond my wildest dreams.

3D Animators are lazy

Yeah I said it. Lazy. The lot of you.

Oh but we work such long hours! We have to work weekends at crunch time!

Maybe if you didn't spend so much time sitting on your asses talking about whatever it is you geeks talk about (is it Warcraft?) or doing poor Ricky Gervais impressions then you wouldn't always be so far behind schedule.

You don't just get one, do you?

So now I have an exploded head to add to the list. It seems to be easing off slightly, which is nice. But it seems you'll rarely find someone with just one condition. Once you start the whole diagnosis process, it's the beginning of a collection.

Like collecting rare coins.

Only they're never as rare as you thought they were and they won't fetch a good price on Antiques Roadshow.
